Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, interpreting telemetry data, and providing quality care to patients with cardiac conditions. Duties:
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment
- Interpret and analyze telemetry data to identify any abnormalities or changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with procedures such as gastric lavage and dermal fillers
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, self-care, and treatment plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in PA
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in Telemetry or Critical Care nursing
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of telemetry data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as eClinicalWorks
- Experience with lift techniques to assist patients with mobility needs
Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract
Salary: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
