Job Description Summary: This role will be responsible for the Issues, Incident and Complaints Management program for the Consumer Credit and Financial Services business organization, reporting to the Director of Risk Lifecycle and Controls. Job Description: Meet our Team: Global Consumer Governance and Operational Risk team is responsible for developing a unified, data-driven approach to the management of risk in a controlled operating environment across the Consumer and Credit organization. All risk disciplines ensure PayPal meets its regulatory and business objectives. Through Internal Controls, we help ensure that each of our teams have the appropriate policies, governance, and operational cadences to ensure transparent, efficient, and consistent risk management. You will be playing an integral role in building strong relationships with PayPal business partners and within the Global Credit organization to be effectively positioned to understand, communicate, and influence decisions, results, issues, and outcomes. Your aptitude to learn, and ability to apply structure and organization to a highly visible area, you will be well positioned to shape your career growth and future endeavors. Your day to day: Identify and document issues in the centralized management tool. Propose and enhance control measures. Create and detail Issue Remediation Plans; ensure clarity and completeness. Submit plans for review and approval. Collaborate with FLOD for remediation execution. Conduct impact analysis for comprehensive remediation. What you need to bring: 7-10 years of experience in risk management and internal controls within similar disciplines. 5 years of management experience. Demonstrated in depth knowledge of risk issues, trends, and implications. Relationship-building and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management. Ability to credibly challenge solutions and reporting to risk owners and ensure that timely escalation of issues and concerns occurs as and when appropriate.
