The Role
You are driven, detail-oriented, and consistently deliver results. You are excited about the opportunity to have broad exposure to, and interactions within, a rapidly growing part of the fintech industry. You show a keen interest in following and improving repeatable processes within a B2B financing partner that has an impressive growth trajectory. You have a firm understanding of GAAP Accounting, Excel and accounting/finance-related concepts. You enjoy problem-solving and are able to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
This is a 6 month contract position with the potential of converting to a full-time opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Be responsible for accurate, timely, and properly reconciled Accounts Receivable payments from, including but not limited to: subcontractors, general contractors, property owners, and bonding companies
- Be responsible for accurate, timely, and properly reconciled Accounts Payable disbursements to, including but not limited to: suppliers & subcontractors
- Be responsible for accurate, timely, and properly reconciled bank accounts
- Be responsible for accurate, timely, and properly recorded W-9’s and assist with the annual 1099 filings
- Support the Controller in day-to-day activities and any other required tasks.
- Support Sales, Operations, and Executive teams in financial reporting
- Participate in the development of Billd’s Financial Operation policies, and processes
Skills and Qualifications
- Required 1 year experience in Accounting or Finance Role
- Required 1 year experience with Quickbooks (or comparable accounting software systems)
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional written and verbal communication & presentation skills
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree (or working on a degree) in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred experience in startup/small business environment

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
