BinBettr launched in Charlotte in February of 2023. We work with short term rental property managers to ensure the trash and recycling is taken to the curb and back each week for trash day. After seeing steady customer growth in 2023, BinBettr is looking for a technically savvy and motivated individual to help us accomplish our goals in 2024. Simply put, the Operations Manager will be responsible for making sure the trash gets taken out every week at all of our customer’s properties. As the first full-time employee of BinBettr, you will have the chance to make an immediate impact and work alongside the co-founders as we continue to improve processes in anticipation of new growth.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be willing to wear many different hats and solve problems under pressure. This role will require learning to recruit/hire new drivers, manage a team of existing drivers, communicate professionally with customers, and be able to work effectively within a google suite environment (gmail, google sheets, google slides, etc.). The most important skill that we are looking for is a can-do attitude and a willingness to evolve over time; This is essential in an early stage start-up where processes are changing rapidly.
Duties:
Manage Driver Turnover
- Recruit/Hire drivers to ensure sufficient coverage for daily service
- Onboard/Train new drivers
Manage Drivers
- Assigning routes to drivers
- Resolve issues that drivers may encounter while running routes
- Tracking which drivers did each route and ensuring accurate completion
- Communicate with drivers daily
- Serves as a backup driver if no other driver is available
Manage Customer Service
- Manage inbox
- Send daily service confirmation email with photos to each customer visited that day
- Customer issue resolution
Route Creation
- Creating routes based on predetermined template
Actively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency
Requirements:
- Google Suite proficiency (Sheets, GMail, Slides, etc.)
- Excellent Communication skills
- Management experience (a plus)
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ownership mentality
- Problem solving skills
- Desire to work in fast-growing, dynamic environment
- Must live in Charlotte, NC

Pay:
- $40,000 per year (1099)
- Time off (10 days paid)
