What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bounce House Attendant position at Binghamton City School District?
All you do is watch kids jump in the bouncy house.
You will be outside in the weather but only part time right by the race track!
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Supervise children while playing in the bounce houses. Also, maintain the cleanliness of each of the three bounce houses. Ensure the safety of the children and of the area surrounding the bounce houses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provides excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
- Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
- Clean out any water or dirt from each of the bounce houses when you first arrive for your shift.
- Ensure the area surrounding the bounce houses is a safe at all times for children.
- Supervise the children playing and ensure that there are no more than seven children in either bounce house at any given time.
- Ensure all children are behaving appropriately and following the rules while in the bounce houses
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. Previous childcare experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
