What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exercise Physiologist position at Bio-Care, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate their physical condition to perform stress test on treadmill
- Monitor patients during stress test to ensure safety and proper form
- Obtain vitals before, during and after stress test
-Prep patient for stress test which includes shaving chest, skin prep tape, alcohol wipes and applying EKG electrodes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience working as an Exercise Physiologist or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Ability to perform patient assessments, interpret, document and monitor vitals sign during stress test.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field
- Certification as an Exercise Physiologist (e.g., ACSM EP-C, NSCA CSCS)
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with patients from diverse backgrounds
