What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Assoc, Staff position at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc.?
As a member of the QA Labeling group under the Global Supply Chain division, curate, maintain and evaluate vendor databases associated with the Value Assignment program. Revise and maintain master data records in SAP including primary and shipping records to ensure vendor participation and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Specialist level with advanced experience.
- Works on more complex assignments.
- Uses judgment and initiative in determining best method to complete tasks or new procedures.
- Detailed knowledge of all tasks in the department.
- Creates and maintains Department Vendor database; serve as the point of contact for SAP Vendor Master questions from all departments
- Update various databases as necessary to ensure accuracy and alignment with the Supplier Quality database
- Ability to work successfully with internal as well as external customers
- Works under general direction.
- Work may be done without established procedures.
- Prioritizes own work and may prioritize work for other staff.
- Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
- Interprets complicated instructions and communicates procedural changes affecting department processes.
- Negotiates work terms with client groups.
- Works with the manager to resolve the most complex issues arising in the work area.
- Provides input to manager on work volumes and performance.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent plus vocational training desirable.
- 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable procedures and processes and all applicable office equipment.
- Advanced PC skills.
- High sensitivity, confidentiality, diplomacy and tact in dealing with work issues.
- Strong analytical, communication, reading, writing, and math skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to keep track of and follow up with Vendor Database setups in various stages of completion
- Experience with medical device testing, instrumentation and/or methodologies a plus.
- Experience with SAP and enterprise software a plus.
