Supply Planner

As a Supply Planner at Bio-Rad, you are responsible for developing supply plans for our manufacturing teams and external suppliers.  In this role, you will help drive performance of key inventory metrics as well as service levels.  The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and consensus building as you translate unique customer requirements into achievable supply plans.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Develops a detailed understanding of the supply strategy as well as the global demand and regulatory constraints for assigned finished goods.
• Creates, maintains and executes a feasible global supply plan to balance customer demand, supply constraints, optimize inventory and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Monitor weekly/monthly production plan attainments to ensure continuous product supply to prevent product interruption to the customer.
• Proactively communicate product availability updates to all levels of the Supply Chain and Customer Service teams including potential inventory or customer service risks.
• Leads the analysis and scenario planning to identify potential gaps and opportunities to improve supply plans, working capital, asset utilization, etc.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management or other related field.
• 5 years’ experience in supply planning, inventory management or manufacturing operations within an ERP/DRP environment.
• Expert analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to think strategically, execute tactically and be detail oriented.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of planning systems (Kinaxis)

Compensation:  The estimated base salary range for this position is $91,500 to $125,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
