We are looking for a Warehouse Team Lead (40 hours per week) to join our Materials Management Department at our headquarters located in Elmwood Park, NJ.

Principal Job Duties:
Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Under close supervision acquires job skills and learns company procedures to complete routine tasks.
- Performs all functions of the Warehouse Associate including picking and packing, inventory control, filling out orders, recognizing ordering trends and suggesting improvements, generating packing lists, assisting in unloading trucks, organizing warehouse and work areas, driving company car with supplies to different locations, etc.)
- Daily oversight, delegation and follow up of warehouse operations and staff within the Shipping/Receiving, Supply Distribution, Mail/FedEx, and Client Supply functional areas.
- Tracking receipt and movement of products through inventory
- Monitoring of auto-replenishment plans of reagents and supplies to end users to spot utilization trends and adjust inventory par levels accordingly
- Plans and monitors optimal space utilization and efficient inventory flow.
- Other duties as assigned

- General Warehouse environment
- Ability to Lift Up to 50 lbs
- May require standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
- On call every other weekend
- High School or equivalent. BS degree is preferred
- 2-4 years’ experience in warehouse, shipping receiving, inventory control.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving history (No violations in the past year, No more than two moving violations in the past 36 months) and at least 4 years driving experience is required.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of shipping software and Microsoft Office
- Direct SAP procurement experience with thorough working knowledge of warehousing and inventory management practices and procedures
- Results-oriented individual that must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, able to maintain meticulous notes and records.
- Able to multitask and sustain multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Function effectively with minimal supervision
