Advanced Cell Diagnostics has an exciting opportunity for a Field Application Scientist in the US New England region. The Field Application Scientist serves as a regional technical contact in supporting ACDs full assay platform
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application assistance, product training and system troubleshooting for Advanced Cell Diagnostics scientific product lines via phone, email and on-site visits.
- Organize, schedule, and conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations at customer sites and conferences as needed
- Some technical writing in preparation of protocols, application notes and user guides may be requested.
- The FAS role is an Important active liaison role with Sales, Marketing, R&D and timely customer feedback from the field is critical.

Job Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or similar discipline with 5 years of laboratory experience with experimental design, cell and molecular techniques and reagents for IHC, ISH, Imaging.
OR
- MS or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry or similar discipline with 3 years of laboratory experience with experimental design, cell and molecular techniques and reagents for IHC, ISH, Imaging.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidate will reside in the Boston area covering all New England states
- Technical customer support or application support experience a plus.
- Committed to total customer satisfaction with outstanding interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Highly self – directed, conscientious, articulate, and possesses excellent presentation and teaching skills.
- Comfortable with a fast pace, able to multi-task handling several issues at once with consistency
- Data entry for all training and customer cases in Sales Force.
- A team player who is flexible to the needs of the support team.
- Ability to travel approximately 30-50%.
