This application is for a full-time 6-month co-op from January to June 2022.
You will work within Global Safety and Regulatory Sciences (GSRS) Global Pharmacovigilance (GPV) to support the Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) Medical Evaluation team. You will work within the ICSR Medical Evaluation Team supporting medical review-related activities and will work in accordance with industry standard practices, global regulatory expectations, and Biogen standards.
Position Description
As a co-op, you will:
- Assess and document medical evaluation of ICSRs
- Actively participate in team meetings
- Take part in tasks related to the MedDRA annual release
- Participate in medical review oversight activities
- Participate in medical review related process improvement projects
- Detail-oriented with analytical skills
- Self-motivated and fast learner
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
- Ability to communicate effectively in group settings
- Have excellent organizational skills
To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Education
PharmD, nursing degree, or master's degree in relevant healthcare or life science discipline
