About This Role

HR Enterprise Learning IT Partner oversees EL-IT team and maintain business relationship. In this role you will serve as IT Strategic partner working closely with EL leadership team to define and maintain EL-Technology Roadmap and Reference Architecture meeting Biogen’s Learning & Development (L&D) business objectives. You will proactively plan, prioritize, and deliver Enterprise Learning initiatives from business case justification to deployment, including any new technology evaluation and selection. You will ensure current Enterprise Learning platform support and operations are effectively managed and GxP compliant. You will be responsible to maximize the value of team contributions and performance through talent planning, coaching, development and proactive communication that engages and develops direct reports, you will report to HRIT Director.

 

What You’ll Do

· Understand Enterprise Learning business strategy, key market trends, and operational challenges to effectively translate into IT strategy and functional roadmap in alignment with functional priorities

· Align EL IT roadmap with overall HR IT Strategy and Roadmap and broader IT initiatives.

· Build and maintain excellent working relationship with business stakeholders. As needed educate business stakeholders about IT processes and methodologies.

· Execute on the IT roadmap initiatives to achieve intended business outcomes in a timely manner. Provide status updates to business stakeholders.

· Manage internal and external team members, ensure team is properly resourced and trained to deliver IT services. Manage and coach direct reports providing learning and growth opportunities.

· Ensure LMS Platform and its supporting tools and technologies eco-system is effectively managed meeting GxP requirements and to reliably provide ongoing operational support.

· Manage technology partner relationships and gather industry insights from them. Support any contract negotiation for cost-effective utilization of the platform meeting business demands.

· Actively engage in continuous improvement opportunities for functional or internal delivery methodology and processes

· Support in defining HR technology strategy & roadmap, execute on the roadmap, and financial management.

Qualifications

Required Skills

· Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in life-sciences/biotech space

· Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies in a GxP regulated environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex topics to audiences with varying degrees of background in the subject.

· Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work, & balance priorities with the ability to achieve positive results

· Excellent interpersonal skills and good team player to get things done

· Have passion to learn and grow beyond comfort zone

· Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum

Preferred Skills

· IT project management skills, including project, budget and vendor management is preferred

· MBA or other graduate degree preferred
