We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take the lead in administering VO2 Max tests and conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiorespiratory fitness and overall physical health. You will be responsible for developing tailored exercise and wellness programs designed to meet each patient's unique needs, guiding them toward achieving their health, fitness, and performance goals. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and promote long-term wellness.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Conduct one-on-one consultations with patients to assess their fitness, medical history, and wellness goals
- Administer and interpret VO2 Max tests to evaluate patients' cardiorespiratory endurance and metabolic efficiency, and perform range of motion assessments to assess joint flexibility and functional movement
- Explain test procedures, monitor patient safety, and ensure accurate data collection
- Analyze assessment results to identify areas for improvement, providing patients with detailed feedback on their fitness and health, while incorporating the findings into personalized exercise programs
- Educate patients on best practices for exercise, recovery, and maintaining an active lifestyle. Offer educational resources on exercise physiology, heart health, and metabolic function
- Provide ongoing support, motivation, and guidance to patients as they work toward their fitness and health goals
- Work closely with physicians, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans
- Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, exercise prescriptions and progress notes in accordance with clinic policies
- Participate in patient care meetings to ensure comprehensive health management
- Perform any additional assigned tasks / ad hoc projects
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or similar organization is preferred
- Experience in conducting VO2 Max tests and interpreting metabolic data
- Strong knowledge of exercise programming and human physiology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with both members and colleagues
- Possesses the expertise to deliver personalized, top-tier service to a discerning client base
- Comfortable in a fast paced, highly flexible start-up environment
- Passion and expertise in the science of aging and longevity
- Ability to work in our New York City clinic 5 days a week, no nights or weekends
- Experience in conducting patient consultations
