Head of Education and Workforce Development

Our client is applying advanced automation and analytical techniques to develop scalable, consistent, and cost-effective manufacturing processes for cells, tissues, and organs as part of its technical efforts. In this multifaceted leadership position, you'll wear two hats: education visionary and apprenticeship architect. You'll lead the development and execution of comprehensive education and workforce development programs, while simultaneously spearheading the growth and success of our registered apprenticeship program.

This is an onsite role in Manchester, NH.

Responsibilities:

Education Program Leadership:

• • Develop and implement strategic education and training programs aligned with industry needs and workforce demands.
  • Oversee curriculum development, instructional design, and faculty development.
  • Manage program budgets and resources effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with educational institutions and community partners.
  • Analyze program effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Registered Apprenticeship Leadership:

• • Champion the registered apprenticeship program as a premier pathway to career success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employer partners to identify apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of apprentices.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable apprenticeship standards and regulations.
  • Promote and advocate for the benefits of registered apprenticeship within the community.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Education, Human Resources Development, or a related field, preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in education and/or workforce development, with proven success in program development and implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of the registered apprenticeship program model and best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Data-driven approach to program evaluation and improvement.
• Passion for education and workforce development, with a commitment to closing the skills gap.
