Job Summary

This position will contribute to new product development by performing bioassays to test recombinant proteins and neutralizing antibodies. The main responsibilities include performing routine QC testing and participating in optimization and validation of new bioassays. This candidate will also be involved in new bioassay development and should be able to work independently and as a part of a team. Additional responsibilities include culturing mammalian cell lines, isolating primary cells, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. The position requires careful documentation of experiments, data analysis, and progress reports.

  • Perform bioassays following established protocols.
  • Contribute to optimization and validation of new bioassays.
  • Develop new bioassay.
  • Maintain cell lines using sterile cell culture technique.
  • Isolate primary cells.
  • Perform data analysis and keep good records and documentation.
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Biology, Immunology, or other related discipline)
  • 3 years of academic or industry laboratory experience
  • 2 year of experience with tissue culture of mammalian cell lines

Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience

  • Master’s degree in Science (Biology, Immunology, or other related discipline)
  • Experience in primary cell cultures
  • 2 years of experience in performing bioassay
  • Outstanding organization and communication
  • Highly motivated and a good team player
  • Familiarity with basic lab equipment and knowledge of lab safety protocols

The base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 - $67,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about thespecific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.
