Description
PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Performs microbiological tests on finished goods
2. Write OOS (Out of Specification), and QE (Quality Event) as needed.
3. Occasionally train other lab personnel
4. Perform other testing as needed for product release and per investigations/complaint support
5. General housekeeping of the lab and ancillary areas.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree with two years of experience or five years relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
List / describe specific work experience requirements and/or skills:
- Good laboratory skills, and working knowledge of laboratory bench methods and equipment
- Dedicated team skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Experience using lab systems such as TrackWise, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), Livelink, etc. and basic computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: 25-50 lbs.
- Pushing: 50-100 lbs.
- Pulling: 50-100 lbs.
