What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrument QC Tech position at bioMerieux?
Conduct QC deviation dispositions (ensuring SAP transactions, NC documentation and physical movement of materials is completed accurately), In-Process audits, and the inspection and release of finished product, as appropriate. Responsible for ensuring deviations are properly documented and NC material is segregated and secured. Perform all duties using safety conscious practices. Inspect/test/audit materials & processes in a timely fashion while ensuring conformance to all requirements.
· Ensure training is complete and remains current before performing related activities.
· Responsible for ensuring non-conforming materials are segregated and secured.
· Performing rework inspection of materials based on rework inspection criteria to confirm material has been brought back into conformance prior to releasing to good inventory.
· Performing disposition of material both physically and electronically to good inventory.
· Cross train and create work instructions for cross training of other team members.
Position Requirements:
Associates Technical degree is a plus and 2 years of hands on Quality inspections experience preferred. 2 years experience in a Quality Department will be accepted in lieu of the degree, in addition to other requirements. Basic knowledge of quality systems (SAP/LIMS/Trackwise) is a plus.
