Responsibilities:
A successful Technical Team Leader candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications to perform their duties effectively. These include:
Communicating goals and deadlines to team members.
Planning workloads and delegating tasks.
Removing impediments to team’s success.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure a smooth software development process.
Assessing and tracking team performance and providing feedback to employees to be used in quarterly/annual reviews.
Assisting with hiring and training employees.
Providing teams with information about recent company developments and policy changes of management.
Ensuring that the team follows correct software development practices including code reviews, quality assurance, documentation, etc.
Translating software requirements into stable, working, high performance software.
Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient micro services distributed architecture.
Implementing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code using Go.
Adding and improving Go unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Using Docker containers to make testing and deployment repeatable and consistent.
Collecting and documenting service requirements by talking to others and looking at legacy code.
Using Agile software development with Scrum by participating in team meetings.
Utilizing Git version control and automated CI/CD for product delivery

Requirements:
Knowledge and experience is the following areas:
Professionally using Go/Go Lang, C#, Java, or another object oriented programming language
SQL databases
Designing and implementing REST APIs or gRPC frameworks
Implementing an Agile software development process to create scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and maintainable code
Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using a variety of tools and frameworks
Strong leadership and communication skills
Employee training experience
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team including conducting various Scrum meetings.
Conduct or facilitate code reviews and software releases.
Git-based source code management
Understand how to use Docker
Experience with SQL databases
Microservice development using Go/GoLang
Must be able to contribute in all layers of technical design, development, testing, implementation and support
Ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Passionate about writing quality code, following best practices, solving complex technical challenges and constantly honing your development skills
Experience in C# .Net a big plus
Comfortable working with multiple O/S including Windows and Linux
