I am working with a world-leading Biotech based in Texas that play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare, working alongside global biopharma leaders to pioneer new vaccines, cures, and therapies, who are on their search for a Director of EHS (Environmental Health & Safety).
You will join the Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for overseeing Employee Health & Safety and Sustainability & ESG programs. You will be involved in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental plans, and industry standards while driving sustainability initiatives and collaboration with local communities.

You will be responsible for:
- Leading the strategic development of EHS and Sustainability & ESG programs
- Oversee compliance with regulations and engage with regulatory bodies to manage environmental, health, and safety matters
- Stay attuned to evolving ESG landscape, tracking peer activity, regulatory changes, and climate developments
- Assess and manage long-term environmental, social, and governance risks, guiding ESG ratings and rankings submissions
- Develop, execute, and report on ESG initiatives, following standards like SASB and GRI.
- Safeguard biological processes by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and contained execution
- Having full autonomy to shape and drive sustainability and EHS strategy for the site
You will bring the following:
- Previous experience in an EHS Management position within a GMP/Pharma/Biologics/CGT environment
- In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks and trends
- Strong leadership experience and previous exposure to managing a team
- A Master's Degree in Life Science
- Expertise in virology and environmental control procedures
- Experience in EHS audits, inspections, and remediation

Salary: $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
