Pest Control Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of pest control techniques and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement effective pest control strategies to eliminate pests
- Apply pesticides and other treatments to infested areas according to safety guidelines
- Install pest control devices and recommend preventative measures to minimize future infestations
- Communicate with customers to explain treatment plans and answer any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in pest control techniques

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in pest control or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of common pests, their habits, and effective treatment methods
- Ability to operate power tools, farm machinery, and hand tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
