HR Business Analyst

BIOTRONIK is looking for an HR Business Analyst to join our Human Reources team. The HR Business Analyst will work with the HR team to drive efficiency and clarity in the HR processes. This role offers a broad scope of work including HR project management, system administration, HR master data steward and process improvement. The successful candidate will be confident in their understanding of HR best practices, possess strong technical skills for quickly analyzing data, and have a passion for continuous improvement. We work mainly with cloud-based HR solutions including ADP WorkforceNow and SuccessFactors but also use SAP HCM. Our ideal candidate will have experience working within or for an HR department focused on processes and systems, capable of creating reports, streamlining processes, and enhancing/implementing new solutions. Duties will include application support, requirement gathering, process design, user training, system configuration, and testing.
The location for this position is hybrid out of our Lake Oswego, Oregon campus.
Your Responsibilities
- Work with regional HR team to provide guidance on how to best leverage system-solutions to drive efficiency;
- Work with HR leadership to propose and implement new tools to support HR processes;
- Troubleshoot and propose/implement solutions for issues;
- Support employees, managers, and the HR team on HR systems, including provide end-user training on HR systems;
- Generate, analyze and audit HR reports and metrics, , including compliance reports such as AAP and EEO;
- Ensure integrity of HR data in core HR systems and downstream systems.
- Manage changes to system configuration and integrations to support new requests or enhance existing processes;
- Work with global HR Shared Service and SAP / SuccessFactors teams to further implement HRIS solutions. Document and provide the US regional requirements for new HRIS implementations;
- Project manager, process owner and local system administrator for annual HR processes such as performance and merit increase;
- Manage HRIS and downstream vendor relationships; and
- Other duties / project as assigned.
Your Profile
- Associate’s degree in business, HR, or IT-related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in an HR generalist or analyst role
- Minimum of two years of experience working on project teams or leading project workstreams
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, creating charts, filtering, and advanced formulas
- Knowledge of administrative tools and process management in SuccessFactors and/or ADP
- Knowledge of statutory data and reporting requirements as well as best-practice HR metrics
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Visio
- Comfort with HR master data and system integrations
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience with SAP a plus
- Strong communication ability, written and verbal
- Proactive communication style, with solid judgment on how to engage stakeholder groups
- Detail oriented, accountable and organized
- Resourceful and creative in approach to finding solutions
- Applies past experience and learning to current state
- Experience with data query tools
