What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Nanny position at Birch Nannies?
Part Time Toddler Nanny in North Buckhead
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 6:00pm. The parents would love someone who can work full days for school breaks and occasionally through the summer but this is not a requirement.
Pay: $25 paid through cash and guaranteed hours. Benefits include two weeks paid vacation, personal/sick days, federal holidays paid and off and mileage reimbursement.
Start Date: ASAP but flexible. Long term position.
Children: 4 year old boy, perfectly healthy
The toddler has a great imagination and loves to play. He’s into spending time in nature and making up adventures, like running down the hallway to saaave the animals!! The parents are looking for someone who can foster his sense of creativity and adventure with him. Someone who loves play and laughter. Along with tapping into your inner child, they are looking for someone who can set boundaries, no means no, but with love.
The perfect nanny has a happy, no-drama attitude and cares about showing up to work reliably. The parents have demanding jobs and want a nanny who wants to be there so they don’t have to worry. They have had long-term nannies for their older child who they LOVE and still treat like family, such as remembering their birthdays.
The general day-to-day involves picking up the toddler from morning school and having a fun filled day. The nanny has the freedom to plan activities, go swimming, go to parks/playgrounds, plan play dates, meet up with nanny groups, the zoo, etc!
Responsibilities:
- Plan activities, assist in learning activities, schedule play dates and manage the schedule.
- Prepare snacks and transport to/supervise activities.
- Be a fun and playful friend to the toddler.
- Drive to/from activities.
- Tidy up after a day of play.
Requirements:
- Warm, friendly, mature, outgoing, compassionate demeanor.
- Set boundaries with kindness (not a pushover).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving/criminal records.
- Minimum 3 years professional childcare experience.
- Ability to swim
Pets: One dog is currently in the home the nanny is not responsible for.
