Full Time Scheduler
M-F 9am-5pm, with on-call responsibility every other week

The BG at Home Scheduler, working under the direct supervision of the BG at Home Leadership team, will develop and maintain the daily schedules of BG at Home Companions and CNAs.
This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills with clients and team members. Strong time management skills are essential to meet scheduling needs and adapt to changes, all while keeping leadership informed.
A Typical Day :
- Update Residents’ / Clients’ schedules and assign Caregivers appropriately.
- Modify and maintain Caregivers’ schedules as needed.
- Fill all "call-out" shifts using Bishop Gadsden at Home scheduling processes
- Field new client & caregiver inquiries over the phone knowledgeably, passing information to the appropriate staff member.
- Ensure all shift changes are made in Soneto.
- Maintain PTO requests from companions and CNAs
- Maintain up-to-day call-out and tardy log
- Answer incoming calls professionally, kindly, and competently.
- Direct all calls, and messages received to the appropriate person.
- Promptly communicate new schedules, changes in client status, and any other pertinent information to the BG at Home Director and Scheduling Manager.
- Coordinate BG at Home new employee orientation in conjunction with BG HR orientation.
- Perform Caregiver duties as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate various aspects of resident’s / client’s care.
- Demonstrate open and effective communication with the Director, Scheduling Manager, Staff, Residents / Clients, and family members.
- Accept other duties assigned by the Director as needed to serve the residents and clients of Bishop Gadsden
What We Need In A Candidate :
High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in home care / healthcare, preferred.
- Knowledge of health / home care scheduling, preferred.
- Previous and / or current CNA certification preferred.
- Must be able to interact with clients and their families as well as other staff with tact, courtesy, and confidentiality.
Must be capable of staying organized and detail-oriented while working within multiple tasks.
Knowledge of health / home care scheduling a plus
