JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY:
A construction professional responsible for on-site supervision, administration, and coordination of a construction project to the complete satisfaction of the client and architect/engineer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce all company, OSHA, and other applicable safety standards with subcontractors and employees.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation and reporting of safety issues.
- OSHA inspection
- Pickets or business agent on jobsite
- Effectively communicate with all parties: i.e., owner, architect/engineer, project manager, crew, government agencies, and inspectors.
- Coordinate testing agencies.
- material work as required.
- Provide documentation as required.
- Track labor hours on LCC.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal building codes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful an individual must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in 4 year construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience
Knowledge and Experience:
- Four years of management or supervisory experience in the construction industry.
- Thorough knowledge of construction and trade activities, tools, equipment operation and carpentry skills of various trade types.
