The HR Coordinator supports Bittrex by providing services important to the full employee life cycle. This position is a key part of the Bittrex culture and is an integral part of the team member experience. This person will act as a first point of contact for Bittrex employees as it relates to their onboarding and their questions related to Bittrex policies, benefits and programs. We want that to be positive and energizing for each and every person who joins our team! The ideal candidate has strong employee relations experience, outstanding communication skills, and a desire to provide outstanding customer service.
The HR Coordinator is primarily responsible for:
- Work with recruitment team on staffing-related support activities, including onboarding new employees.
- Provide first point of contact to employees and managers for questions and concerns, providing effective and timely responses to inquiries and escalating as needed.
- Maintain HR Information Systems, employee files and training records, and supporting general employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Complete forms I-9 and eVerify documentation.
- Support benefits enrollment and open enrollment, maintain benefits management systems, assist employees with benefits questions, and support implementation of new benefits offered.
- Deliver and maintain HR services, programs and regulatory compliance including leave administration and advising on policies and procedures.
- Liaises with benefits plan administrators to seek information and resolve issues.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Business or a related field
- 2 years required of experience in Human Resources
- Ability to work with the highest degree of confidentiality, exercising discretion and judgment as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work with employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize and proactively meet deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly, while also understanding when to escalate issues that arise.
- Must work with a sense of urgency and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office suite required.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Prior experience and strong understanding of HRIS systems, preferably in UKG (Ultipro).
- Prior experience with ATS preferred, preferably in Greenhouse.
- Working knowledge of FMLA and ADA.
- Experience with benefits and payroll practices.
