Location

This role can work remotely from anywhere in the USA. You must be legally authorized to work in the US.  Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship. Some travel may be required to the Washington DC metro area.


What will you do?

In this role, the Program Associate exhibits the highest of organizational abilities by supporting Department of Justice (DOJ) National Institute of Justice (NIJ) program staff across a variety of assignments. Successful candidates will be required to coordinate complex logistical tasks to include managing budgets, coordinating travel arrangements, processing payments for consultants, and updating administrative procedures that will foster program efficiencies.

This is a full-time proposal position contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities
  • Provides logistic support and executes management of tasks to NIJ program managers.
  • Makes hotel arrangements and arranges travel support for consultants traveling on NIJ tasks.
  • Provides document and budget management and tracking for payment tasks.
  • Processes travel reimbursement forms and claim forms for consultants.
  • Provides special request support, creating new templates and procedures at request of Project Director and COR.
  • Monitors tasks and tracks timelines and task budgets.
  • Proactively interacts with stakeholders and is customer focused. 
  • Participate in client events and forums to positively represent the organization and develop and maintain relationships with the industry.  
  • As appropriate, play an active role in new client acquisition by supporting business development initiatives to enhance and grow Bixal's business in each of the areas that it works. 


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3 years experience monitoring budgets, tasks and timelines. 
  • Ability to undergo a background investigation by the U.S. Government and meet eligibility requirements for suitability.
  • Provide on-site support (as needed) in DC Metro area.
