Enterprise Data Stewardship Lead

Responsibilities

• Onboarding of Trustees to the Data Governance Platform with associated work.
  
• Leveraging the network to help Trustees that are struggling to identify stewards in-line with their scope of responsibility (brand, geo, function)
  
• Facilitating the connection between the data trustees and for all discovery and requirements gathering, implementation of business terms, inventory reports, database etc. and escalation and remediation for each business functions data Trustees.
  
• Cross-functional stewardship is needed by facilitating conversations between trustees to gain consensus on ownership and decision rights cross-functionally.
  
• Evangelization of the platform with Trustees, Guardians and Stewards to ensure we have positive adoption for each business line.
  
• Create risk mitigation strategies to enable adoption of governance through the governance operating model
  
• Exercise strong leadership working both independently and with project teams to understand, research, determine, document, and communicate data governance direction
  
• Utilize deep knowledge of data needs/requirements and continually expand business understanding as you work to determine effective solutions to data governance adoption challenges, some of which may create issues for the business
  
• Utilize strong influencing and communication skills to tell the story of data governance to business partners towards resolution of data quality problems
  
• Work to elevate greater understanding across the D&A and business communities of the role of data governance and the importance of sustaining quality data
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline, or equivalent level of experience in a codata knowledge management, information governance, instructional design, user acceptance.
  
• One of the following alternatives may be accepted: 
  
• PhD or Law 3 yrs.
  
• Masters 4 yrs.
  
• Associates 6 yrs.
  
• High School 7 yrs.
  
• Prior experience creating learning experiences; content creation and brand identity in support of governance standards, practices, and support models to achieve business objectives
  
• Prior experience working in Data, Analytics, Data Governance, or with Legal Policies and Standards
  
• Prior experience designing and developing a change effort through the creation of training materials tailored to specific audiences to cause lasting behavioral
  
• Previous experience with learning in an adult educational environment
  
• Familiar with multiple communication media, website design, video technology, and creatively shaping a cross-platform experience for end users to drive adoption & understanding
  
• Knowledge of key communication indicators and metrics with an understanding of how we can leverage these for tracking progress, assessing over time, and evaluating communications effectiveness
