Additional Information About The Role

Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking a Credentialing Analyst to join the team. This role will be responsible for medical provider applications for privileges within the hospital.

Ideal candidates should be highly organized and be able to meet deadlines.

Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4p, on-site position.

Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more.

The Medical Staff Services Department of Alton Memorial Hospital main purpose is to manage all medical staff activities including medical staff quality improvement programs. This includes managing effective and efficient systems to support the medical s

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs activities related to the entities and other affiliated instruction's credential verification process for initial and reappointment applications for medical staff and allied health professionals..

Responsibilities

  • Verifies that credentials of medical staff, mid-level, and allied health professionals are in compliance with regulatory bodies, federal, and state agencies.
  • Maintains accurate data in credential database and permanent credential files.
  • Collaborates with medical staff and leadership to ensure credentialing and processing standards are being met.
  • Facilitates problem solving and operating system boards while participating in sub-committees created for ongoing process improvement


Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's Degree
