BJC Medical Group, part of BJC Healthcare one of the largest nonprofit integrated academic health care systems in the United States, is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to add to the team at BJC Medical Group at The Highlands.
BJC Medical Group at The Highlands is located conveniently in a beautiful facility, across from Forest Park in St. Louis, MO. The physicians are on-staff at one of the top-ranked hospitals in the nation, Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Practice Highlights:
- Join an established practice of 5 physicians and 3 mid-level providers
- 100% outpatient primary care clinic
- 36 patient facing contact hours, Monday through Friday workweek
- Lite call coverage on weekdays only, supported by BJC Medical Group Access Center.
- Imaging services and x-ray located on site.
- Strong support staff and established providers to ensure success at BJC Medical Group.
- EPIC EMR
Compensation & Benefit Highlights:
- Two-year guarantee followed by team based wRVU compensation model.

Qualifications
Role Purpose
Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates with staff, patients, and families.
Responsibilities
- Manages the medical care of assigned patients.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
- Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
- Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service. Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
