Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Corporate Events Manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact to a target audience. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. An event manager is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.
What you will be working on:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Promoting conferences, conventions and trade shows to potential customers.
· Arranging and coordinating services, such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audio-visual equipment, transport and social events for participants.
· Lead promotional activities for the event.
· Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
· Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports for Director of Marketing and Executive leadership.
· US and International travel and participation in minimum of 4 trade shows and expos, annually, required.
· Collaborates with product department on product demos and sales events.
About You:
· Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing or related field.
· 5 to 7 years’ experience with IBC, NAB,broadcast conventions and relevant events in Latin America.
· Led and managed trade shows.
· Strong project management skills.
· Collaborator with high degree of anticipation.
· High energy person who executes.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
