Fuel Technician

The Fuel Technician will be responsible for refueling a fleet of heavy haul trucks, vehicles, and equipment. This position requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Refueling all trucks, vehicles, and equipment
• Track, monitor, and measure fuel dispensed into each unit
• Safe operation of trucks, vehicles, and equipment
• Examining all trucks, vehicles, and equipment for damage or defects
• Immediately reporting any unsafe conditions, damage, or defects
• Safe use of fueling and maintenance equipment and tools
• Light maintenance as needed
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment
• Ensure that work areas are clean and organized and that equipment is properly maintained
• Other duties as necessary

• Ability to work safely at a fast pace and under pressure to maintain flow of business
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Physical stamina and ability to climb in and out of vehicles and equipment and use
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 75 pounds

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Class A CDL and experience driving commercial vehicles
• Mechanical knowledge
• Related experience and execution of similar duties is preferred, but not required
• Basic knowledge of equipment, tools, and heavy haul trucks and trailers

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
