JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Oyster Shucker, you will be responsible for acting in a manner befitting an employee of Black Lamb and will be expected to always represent our team in and out of the workplace. We are proud of the work we do here and want nothing more than you to be proud of yourself and your peers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day consistency of product and execution of all food on your station. We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a raw bar capacity with high volume as we prepare for a busy spring/summer season. You will report to the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in the preparation of all assigned dishes and prep projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all quality, consistency of product
- Maintain professionalism and reliability
- Practice proper sanitation
- Practice proper cooking techniques
- Be receptive to constructive feedback
- Ask questions and be willing to learn
- Proper cleaning and storing of oysters
- Preparation of all raw bar items including sauces, garnishes, seafood, etc.
- Keeping a presentable raw bar that is always guest visible
- Communication of prep needs, inventory, and pars to managing chefs
- Communication of tickets to FOH managers, servers, food runners, etc.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
- Minimum 1 years experience in a kitchen
- Minimum 1 years experience shucking and handling oyster required
- Serve Safe certified

- $18/hour starting base rate
- 4% Kitchen Admin Fee Shared
