Black & Veatch's Global Advisory organization provides strategic and digital transformation consulting services to the power, energy, gas, and water sectors. We have an immediate need for a professional with functional / technical industry expertise and experience in Gas and Electric Utility EAM and field worker mobility solutions. As the Manager, EAM position you will have the opportunity to contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases and function in a lead role and manage the client engagement while documenting and improving business processes focused on EAM solutions and the ecosystem of interfacing systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Gas and Electric Utility EAM and Field Worker Mobility transformation projects
- Utilize your EAM functional and technical knowledge and experience to produce work products and solutions on system implementation projects
- Perform Solution Architect responsibilities
- Participate in Scrum Teams as Business Analyst/Process Analyst
- Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plan
- Identify technical issues impacting an engagement and propose solution.
- Analyze and apply best practices from industry
- Manage client expectations within defined scope of engagement
- Recommend appropriate resources based on the phases of an engagement.
- Delegate and manage work to assigned team members
- Manage engagement issues in less complex projects or escalate issues in more complex projects
- Transfer capabilities, and skills to improve others' knowledge and skill levels
- Enhance established working relationships with team members and management from within the client's organization
- Contribute to quality review on own engagement
- Outline specific performance measures, targets, and goals to articulate the business case for realized efficiencies or added value

- Master's degree
- 5 years of experience with Electric/Gas Distribution & Transmission networks
- 3 years of IT project management with implementation of transformation projects
- Knowledge of a complete engagement lifecycle.
- Business development experience
- Agile Certification preferred
- Experience with EAM systems like Infor EAM, STORMS, Asset Suite
- Management projects including:
- Experience with Electric Generation, Distribution & Transmission networks, Gas Distribution & Transmission Asset and Work Management Processes
- Experience configuring and/or optimizing EAM Solutions (experience with IBM Maximo 7 or later versions preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading a project team of technical and functional consultants on system implementation projects
- IT project management experience implementing transformation projects
- Understanding of GIS Systems and GIS Data Models such as ESRI's Geometric Network and Utility Network
- Experience with Field/Mobile Work software solutions
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience. 7 years experience in a business/consulting environment.
