SUMMARY: The Human Resources Manager will support our day-to-day US operations in the Human Resources department such as recruitment, reporting, compliance, employee relations, polices and training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associate consistent with Core Behaviors.
- Responsible for promoting culture of safety.
- Implement and administer employee policies and processes.
- Responsible for onboarding training all new managers for BlackHawk.
- Manages HRIS, ATS and LMS systems.
- Partners with management on workforce reviews and talent development; this includes review presentation of workforce demographics analysis, metrics, reports and trends.
- Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
- Owns projects and successfully implements programs to help improve the employee experience.
- Provides monthly and weekly reporting from ADP and AST and creates analytics for submission to the Sr. HR Director.
- Manages US Recruiting and Training departments.
- Updates HRIS system and manages the onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Completes the roll-out of electronic annual performance reviews and partners with the Sr. Director of HR on performance review manager training and will be responsible for reviewing and approving performance reviews on behalf of HR.
- Administers, monitors, and provides training on BlackHawk’s vehicle reimbursement program.
- Responsible for gathering data and creating presentations for Senior Leadership regarding HR analytics.
- Partners with Sr. Director of HR on the monthly managers meeting topics and assists with content creation and presenting.
- Completes required government and state reporting and AAP data.
- Responsible for company required reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree is required; PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships, strong customer service and interpersonal skills and must be collaborative in nature when working with others.
- Must be self-motivated and pro-active in all aspects of the role.
- Must have proven ability to problem solve and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication (written, verbal, listening, and presentation) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and able to be flexible with changing priorities while producing quality work with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate as a team player.
- Requires strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, and HRIS systems.
- Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Prefer 5-7 years of experience in a Human Resources related field.
- Prefer 2-5 years of management experience.
- PHR or SPHR
- Multi-state compliance
- Prefer LMS and HRIS administration
