In this essential role, you will play a significant part in ensuring our manufacturing facility’s smooth and efficient functioning. By maintaining precise inventory records and optimizing stock levels, you will help us achieve our production targets while minimizing waste and costs. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be at the core of our operations, meticulously managing and controlling inventory levels to enhance the plant's efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will be highly valued as you collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a seamless flow of operations. Moreover, you will have the full support of our Plant Manager, enabling you to make a meaningful impact on our production process.

Responsibilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
• Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately recording all inventory transactions, adjustments, and stock movements in our inventory databases, maintaining transparent and well-organized records.
• Inventory Auditing: Conducting regular physical counts and audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy.
• Stock Replenishment: Analyzing inventory levels and placing inbound orders in a timely manner to ensure smooth operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as logistics and accounting, to ensure timely delivery of orders and accurate reporting.
• Training and Support: Providing training and guidance to team members on inventory management procedures and best practices.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking inventory movements, and updating inventory databases.
• Quality Control: Ensuring incoming inventory meets our high-quality standards and reporting any issues to the Plant Manager.
• Reporting: Preparing and presenting inventory reports to management and the accounting department.
• Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing solutions to improve the overall efficiency of the inventory management process.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
• 1 year in a position requiring attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and records.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of chemical inventory management and hazardous materials handling (a plus).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to address inventory-related challenges proactively.
• Good communication skills to interact with and report inventory status to management.
