We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge machine-learning models and algorithms. You will be responsible for turning raw data into actionable insights, contributing to the development of innovative solutions, and driving advancements in artificial intelligence.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES:
Algorithm Development:
· Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems.
· Optimize existing machine learning models for improved accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
· Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and incorporate them into the development process.
Data Processing and Analysis:
· Preprocess and clean large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and insights.
· Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the availability of high-quality, well-organized data for model training.
· Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify relevant features and patterns.
Model Training and Evaluation:
· Train, validate, and fine-tune machine learning models using a variety of algorithms.
· Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and make necessary adjustments.
· Implement techniques for model interpretability and explainability.
Deployment and Integration:
· Deploy machine learning models to production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
· Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into existing systems and applications.
· Monitor and maintain deployed models, making updates as needed.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts, to understand business requirements and develop solutions.
· Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Performance Optimization:
· Identify and implement optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of machine learning models in production.
· Conduct performance analysis and implement improvements based on resource utilization metrics.
Security and Compliance:
· Implement security measures to protect machine learning systems and data.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to machine learning and data privacy.
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
o Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. o Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
o Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, or Google Cloud vertex.
o Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
o Expertise in working with cloud-based infrastructure.
• Data Skills:
o Expertise in data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering. o Familiarity with SQL and database systems.
o Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Problem-solving and Critical Thinking:
o Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and propose innovative solutions. Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate models and identify limitations.
• Adaptability and Learning Agility:
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Proactive in staying up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in AI/data science.

Salary Range:
USD $145,000.00 - $193,000.00/year.
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
