Position Summary
BlackPoint IT Services is seeking an individual with IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) sales experience to join our team as an IT Business Development Manager (BDM).This is a full-time, day-shift, 100% remote position. The BDM will be responsible for developing new business opportunities using their network of business contacts and building market position through referrals, prospecting, and following up on marketing-generated leads in the IT Managed Services market.
Compensation
Total Compensation Target: $100,000 to $135,000
Includes base, commission, and performance-based bonuses

Responsibilities and Duties
Develop a strong understanding of BlackPoints business strategy and target markets.
Manage a complex sales cycle with multiple decision-makers and present cost-benefit analyses to executives.
Effectively use business cases to demonstrate the value of outsourcing vs. in-house and time and material engagements.
Develop and prospect sales opportunities as well as work company-provided sales leads.
Translate business needs and requirements into an effective plan for clients utilizing BlackPoint Managed Services, Cloud, and Security offerings.
Manage a sales pipeline and forecast.
Use CRM to track all relevant opportunities and execute end-to-end sales activities, including prospecting, lead follow-up, opportunity qualification, and sales closing process.
Work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-team environment to support business goals and objectives.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with C-level resources and their staff
Energetic self-starter with the desire and ability to grow in the position
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to determine work priorities, proposals, timelines, and changing work demands
Ability to understand and present cost-benefit analysis and effectively close new business.
Education and Experience
Two years of previous Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience, including at least one year of MSP sales or pre-sales experience.
BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience using Microsoft, Zoom Meetings, or similar platforms for presenting and selling in a remote environment to business owners, executives, and CFOs.
CRM Experience with entering and maintaining a sales pipeline
