What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Blackrock Resources?
BlackRock Resources is seeking Project Managers in the Western Pennsylvania region to support our Commercial, Heavy/Industrial, or Client Services Operations. In these roles, you will be responsible for the overall management of a project from inception to completion by meeting or exceeding goals for safety, quality, profitability and schedule, resulting in extreme customer satisfaction. This includes, but is not limited to all planning, organizing, and controlling of coordination activities, establishment and maintenance of project schedules and post-project activities.
Our immediate need is within our clients Heavy/Industrial segment, but we are accepting applications for commercial project managers as well. Bring your talents to a range of stimulating projects at an established and growing family-owned company.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a technical college degree
- Minimum of five years of construction or contracting project management experience, with field or estimating experience
- For the Heavy /Industrial PM role, experience with self-performing heavy/industrial work is preferred
- Comfortable to work in both an office and on-site construction project environment
- Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate based on project needs
- Proficient in computers, experience with construction software preferred
- Aptitude to work as a team player with strong planning and organizational skills
