MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system
  • Manage end-to-end data architecture, from platform selection, technical design architecture, and development of final application testing to proposed solution
  • Create data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of enterprise data warehouses and advanced data analytics systems
  • Plan and execute big data solutions using identified technologies
  • Integrate technical functionality, ensure data accessibility, accuracy, and security
  • Conduct continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed reports for leadership by analyzing and interpreting data
  • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
  • Design relational databases to support business enterprise applications and physical data modeling according to project requirements for data acquisition and security as well as customer-defined deliverables
  • Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design and implementation to meet stated requirements for metadata management, operational data stores and ETL/ECL environments
  • Support database administrators, network designers and IT personnel to create effective and secure methods for data backup and recovery
  • Responsible for planning and implementing data management for new data sources, publicly available data, business-to-business partnerships, and advanced data analytics systems all following the comprehensive enterprise data strategy
  • Handle large projects throughout SDLC phases and manage teams to deliver successfully
  • Provide ETL/ECL design and develop informatica mappings to extract and load the financial/clinical data from practice EMRs
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data
  • Experience consuming/exposing data in various ways, including APIs, BI Tools, SQL
  • Ability to reverse engineer existing data flows and source-to-target mappings
  • Proven experience in implementation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data architecture, information management or relevant field; Masters preferred
  • 5 years of experience designing and implementing data management solutions for a complex and integrated environment
  • Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design and testing techniques
  • Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Mastery of specific types of databases, such as relational or foundational
  • Data management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of predictive modeling, NLP and text analysis, machine learning
  • Knowledge of programming languages Python, C/C , Java, and Perl
  • Experience working with private and sensitive personal information
  • Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
  • Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
  • Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office environment
  • Travel up to 50%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
