As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Engine Assembler to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Engine Assembler to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for assembling various diesel engines sub assemblies according to build sheets and training procedures. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- QC engine parts for defects, wear, quality, and damage.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of engine components.
- Test assembled engines to ensure proper functioning and performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.
- Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
- Ensure that engine components are aligned properly to ensure they are installed correctly and they have the correct fit.
- Ensure that all engine fasteners are tightened and torque to the correct value.
- Assemble engine to ensure it meets the highest quality.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Keep records of production measurements, quantities and time.
- Report issues, malfunction or defective components.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engine components and systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer skills and the ability to use ERP software, Microsoft word, and excel.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability in using tools ( Micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment.
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
- Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
