We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team at a school in Mokena, Illinois. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) with approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Position: School Psychologist Start Date: August 14, 2023 Last Day of School: May 26, 2024 Grade Levels: 3rd through 5th grade Number of Students: Approximately 500 students
Requirements:
- A valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities: As the School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing support and services to students in grades 3rd through 5th. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and intervention services to students
- Assisting in behavior management and intervention strategies
- Conducting research and data analysis to support the school's academic and behavioral programs
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to students' academic success
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist (PEL strongly preferred)
- Experience working with elementary school students is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and administrators
