Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Blazerworks, a trusted partner of the Fillmore School District, is currently seeking a dedicated and fully credentialed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of K-12 students in the district. The pay range for this role is $47-57an hr. depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to determine students' functional abilities and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' participation and independence in daily activities.
- Deliver therapy sessions, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to promote students' engagement and success in the school environment.
- Caseload of approximately 40-50 students across K-12, providing assistance at various schools within the district.
Requirements:
- Fully credentialed Occupational Therapist in the state of California (must be active and in good standing).
- Experience working with children in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
