Were seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This onsite-only position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment, helping students improve their communication skills.
Job Details:
Location: Aurora, CO (40 minute drive from Denver)
Dates: August 7, 2024 - May 23, 2025
Hourly Wage: $50
Responsibilities:
Serve as a floater for Elementary Learning Model (ELM) positions, providing coverage as needed across different locations within the district.
Manage a caseload that typically varies around 40 students ( /- 4).
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and integrate speech-language goals into the classroom setting.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.
Requirements:
Valid Colorado license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience in a school setting is preferred.
Strong diagnostic, assessment, and intervention skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
