Shipping Associate

Bledsoe Wine Estates is searching for a highly organized and motivated individual who has the ability to multi-task, bring a sense of urgency to their work, and deliver exceptional results. He/She must have a strong passion for excellence and uncompromising drive towards success.

Daily Job Responsibilities:

-Directly reports to the Shipping Manager

-Last point of contact for all shipping orders.

Includes pick-sheet invoices, packing slips, and tech cards in shipments.

Packs wine in brand specific packaging.

Labels packages with all required labeling.

Ensure all specified packages are picked up daily. 

-Maintains daily and weekly contact with FedEx/UPS about package counts and daily pickups. 

-Assists with wine and packaging inventory in the shipping warehouse and storage warehouse monthly. 

Evaluates inventory levels for shipping wines on a weekly basis; anticipate and determine need for inventory to support upcoming shipments. 

Communicates wine and packaging needs for upcoming pack-outs and shipments.

-Monitors any returned product on a daily basis and reports this information to the Shipping Manager. 

-Helps manage inventory transfers and restocking of all winery inventory areas.

Records all wine movement.

Communicates with Tasting Room Managers on wine stocking needs.

Physical movement of wine with the use of company vehicles.

Operates fork-lift to load/unload trucks.  

Communicates with distribution to build outgoing orders. 

Ensures correct wines and vintages are moved accordingly. 

-Works with the vineyard crew, in the warehouse, in the off-season.

Ensures that they have the space and materials needed to work.  

-Ensures cleanliness and organization of workspace and winery inventory areas.

Including: Packaging materials, Collateral, Merchandise, etc.

Separates wine by brand and vintage.

-Assists with special projects.

Such as bottling and events.

Other Responsibilities:

Monthly inventory of wine across all three brands. 

Available to work occasional evenings and weekends during busy seasons.

Responsible for general cleanliness and organization of the warehouses including helping with wine movement, dry goods movement, dump runs, etc

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
