Recreation Technician

Blevins Bros. is looking for a recreation technician to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working in automotive or recreation repair facilities.

The qualified candidate will have:

• A minimum education of H.S. diploma or equivalent
• Proven track record of success at current/previous employer(s)
• Valid NYS driver's license
• Customer-focused attitude that recognizes that giving the customer outstanding service is the main focus of the job

Requirements of this job are:

• Availability to work full time (40 hours/week) plus overtime as required by business needs
• Availability to work Saturdays & Sundays as needed
• Ability to show up on time every day and complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
• Ability to complete physical tasks with reasonable accomodation
• Completion of training over a period of first 3 years of employment
• Ability to work as a member of a cohesive team

Typical duties for this position are:

• Diagnose & repair problems with campers, boats, and ATVs
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, winterization/dewinterization, boat wrapping, checklist for sale prep, etc.
• Troubleshoot complex repair issues with involvement of manager & tech support

Pay:

Starting pay varies based on experience and any previous manufacturer certification. Typical pay is an hourly rate. Bonuses are typical in the fall/Christmas timeframe. Other compensation is listed below.

Individual health insurance paid by the company up to $315 per month (eligible after 30 days, family members extra)
