What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at BLG Logistics, Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Tracking of TM put away to location on a trailer by trailer basis
- Turn off all manual entry by TM
- Correct all labels and make them scannable
- Interacting with the MBUSI MPC office to answer routine and non-routine inquiries in an efficient and professional manner
- Audit inventory on a periodic basis, establish a metric and a goal
- Establish accountability for when we fall below established goal.
- Turn off multiple part numbers per location in KLT
- Ongoing interaction with other departments to prevent material escalation
- Using various software programs to search for inventory, make adjustments and/or correct inaccuracies.
- Assist with the development of action plans to correct inventory inaccuracies
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 years experience in inventory management
- 1 year SAP experience
- Strong Computer skills especially Excel
