This role is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success for a specific of region of Block by Block . Success will be achieved through our known recruiting best practices and the development of traditional employment sources in that region This Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruiting plans.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
- Assist in development and facilitation of facility recruiting programs to include: leading the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position; efficiently and effectively filling open positions; and, conducting regular follow-up with managers to determine program effectiveness to ensure that quality hires.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Being proactive in the process.
- Research, recommend and source candidates through a variety of resources; job boards, job fairs, postings, social networks etc.
- Track progress and success rates with our pre designed metrics to determine the best practices.
- Provide the hiring managers in your region assistance with application process and onboarding new hires via phone and zoom.
- Engage and encourage applicants to ensure a great candidate experience

This position requires:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. What we do is different and requires a lot of explanation. We want everyone to understand exactly what the job entails.
- The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. We need someone who can effectively serve as the face of our company. This position is hiring cleaning, safety, outreach and hospitality, not surgeons. So, we need someone with a friendly and dynamic attitude that can hit the ground running and make quick connections.
- Excellent follow up skills are required in order to make efficient use of marking dollars.
- The ability to communicate and interface with many corporate and employee levels. We need someone who can talk to anyone and make them feel comfortable.
- The ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations. (In other words…this world is crazy, we need someone who can hang!)
- Must possess working knowledge of state and federal labor laws.
- The ability to apply strict confidentiality rules to daily workload.
Organizational Relationship:
Consults and coordinates with Recruiting Manager, Recruiting Supervisor Operations, Regional and Corporate Management to provide assistance regarding employment recruiting policies and procedures.

Proficiency in Full- Cycle Recruiting
- Manage full life cycle recruitment across multiple office
- Strategize to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies for sourcing, pipe lining and developing requisitions and provide regular communication to hiring managers
- Partner with recruiting and assessment vendors to ensure proper administration, assessment content, scoring and candidate experience.
Microsoft Office products; WORD, EXCEL, Outlook
Recruiting Manager and other ADP products are a plus
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and sit for extended periods of time
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess some experience in recruiting and hiring. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of both experience and education.
