Business Development Manager - Landscape maintenance and construction
Bloom Partners has been engaged by a Commercial Landscape Company in the Charleston, SC area to recruit and hire a high-energy, relationship-acquiring Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the team.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will develop and pursue strategically targeted business opportunities focusing on the partnership growth plan. The main responsibilities of this position will be to find, acquire, qualify, and track sales leads, to work directly with customers to create a vision for their property maintenance plan and snow removal contracts, to create estimates and present proposals, to close sales, and to ensure a proper hand off to the production team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, Identifying, creating, and maintaining trusted partnerships with key decision-makers.
- Supports business strategy and marketing to make the company a magnet for new commercial customers
- Prepares annuals sales goals and sets success measures along the way
- Sets goals for daily, weekly, and monthly touchpoints for commercial prospects
- Converts commercial prospects to new contracts
- Tracks all touch points and sales metrics in CRM (Aspire)
- Attends networking events and is involved with BOMA and other associations
- Attends and provides updates during weekly Sales meetings
- Attends weekly company meeting
- Estimates landscape maintenance and snow projects
- Prepares presentations
- Builds job packets to hand off to production after-sale
- Conducts proper handoff with Accounts Manager after sales
- Checks in with clients after 30 and 90 days
- Generates new sales ideas and new funnels for attracting leads
- Qualifies leads and customers to our company
Requirements:
- Has experience in the Landscape Industry
- Is personable, polite, and energetic
- Is focused on growth, building pipelines, and converting leads into sales

Compensation and benefits include:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
