Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and adherence to established procedures. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will collaborate closely with production team members, engineer, and management to uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

Conduct final inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specified requirements. Make decisions regarding product acceptance, rejection, or rework based on inspection results. Utilize a variety of measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM’s to ensure accurate dimensions.

Maintain accurate records of inspection results and measurements. Generate inspection reports and documentation for each part. Ensure proper labeling of parts and traceability of with job and part number.

Investigate and determine the root causes of defects or quality deviations. Collaborate with production team to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements: Work experience in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and/or related field.

Proven experience in quality control within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of measurement tools and techniques, including calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.

Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of quality control. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and interpreting specifications.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
