The Role
- As a member of the product management team, you’ll work closely with engineering, QA, and support to create resources that don’t just document what the product does, but help a user go from novice to power user. The tools you build will create a powerful impact on customer performance and adoption.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation that translates complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
- Provide input on user interface text.
- Evaluate existing and potential content, and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
- Use a content management system (CMS) to maintain and manage the lifecycle of technical documentation.
- Monitor metrics on the usage of educational materials as well as direct customer feedback.
What Does It Take
- Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
- Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
- A passion for learning, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in and tackle new challenges.
- Familiarity with API documentation for REST API is a plus but not required.

Location
This is a full-time, permanent position, either fully remote or based in our Indianapolis HQ. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
